Charles Bradley is a black music singer from United States, born in 1948. He was abandoned by his mother, but she took him back 8 years later to live her in Brooklyn, New York, but he left home he was 14 due to the  poverty he was facing. After seeing James Brown perform in the Apollo Theater in 1962, he became fascinated and started mimicking his moves and voice ever since. He was discovered by ''Bosco Mann'' while he was performing as ''Black Velvet’’ (nickname) who led it to his debut album ''No Time For Dreaming'' (2011).  He appeared in the 2012 documentary about soul music ''Soul of America''.  His latest album is called ''Changes'' (2016).
