Daft Punk are an electronic music duo formed by the French musicians Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They started in the early 90's in the group they named Darlin', but a negative review gave them the idea the name themselves Daft Punk. In 1995, their single ''Da Funk'' was their first commercial success. Daft Punk released their first album ''Homework'' in 1997, and the most successful single was ''Around the World''. Later in 2001, their second album ''Discovery'' came out with one of Daft Punk's most famous singles ''One More Time''. Daft Punk have gathered several fans worldwide with their electronic and synthesized music. Their latest album is ''Random Access Memories'' from 2013.
