NINA SIMONE

Nina Simone was an American R&B, soul and jazz singer, who was born in 1933, as Eunice Kathleen Waymon and died in 2003 of breast cancer. She was a civil rights activist. She struggled with racism in the beginning of her career and prejudice by her own family members. As a disguise, she changed her name to Nina Simone. Her debut album was released in 1985, named ''Little Girl Blue''.  Nina Simone recorded over forty studio albums.
