Taylor Swift is a country pop singer and songwriter, from United States, born in 1989, as Taylor Alison Swift. At the age of 14, she moved from Pennsylvania to Nashville, to pursue a musical career in country music. In Nashville, she signed with the independent record label, Big Machine Records.  In 2006, her homonym debut album launched her career as a country singer, with a number one song on country music charts. 

Her second album, ‘‘Fearless’’ (2008) brought more pop music, with two successful singles: ''Love Story'' and ''You Belong With Me''. The album won four Grammy Awards in 2009, and was the best-selling album in US, that year.  Taylor Swift's fifth album "1989'' sold more copies in the opening, than any albums in the previous twelve years. She has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, and 130 million singles downloaded.
