"VEILS"
Seeing the world through veils: creations that, through a strong and personal reinterpretation, pay a tribute to the mystery of women in mantillas, weeping black widows, fluo pierrots and circus artists, veiled warriors, winged cocoons, sacred crucifixions and multicolour hawkers..through to a final collapse of worlds and emotions, enhanced by the dramatic photographic style, the nostalgic make up and the enigmatic allure of the model.

A Shaded View on Fashion

"Diane Pernet (born in Washington DC, USA) is an American cult fashion curator, journalist/blogger who lives in Paris. She was a New York fashion designer in the 80’s, a costume designer for movies and worked as the woman's fashion editor for Joyce magazine, and as a fashion editor for Elle.com and Vogue. Diane has been invited by the Metropolitan Museum in NYC to be on their blog-mode panel and recognized as one of the 3 most influential fashion blogs!"

Biografi

Chiara Cola har studerat på Liceo Classico (gymnasiet fokuserat på humaniora) följt av en examen i kommunikationsvetenskap (old curricula) från Universitetet La Sapienza i Rom där hon avlade examen med en avhandling i mode och design med titeln "Nya perspektiv mellan neoarcaism och hyperfuturism: The Cases av Antonio Marras och ExTe ". Efter det gjorde Chiara en magisterexamen i mode och Retail Management vid Istituto Polimoda, i Florens.

"För fyra år sedan jag blev medveten om den stora potentialen av digital teknik och blev helt kär. Jag började då min egen personliga resa som en själv-lärd, som gav mig en mycket större grad av frihet att uttrycka min kreativitet. Jag är fortfarande förvånad över de oändliga möjligheter som den digitala tekniken erbjuder."
